 Drs. Lori and Stephen Kirwan

 

Dr. Stephen J. Kirwan, O.D. completed his Bachleor of Science degree at Cabrini College in Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University in Philadelphia.  He graduated with honors in both pediatric and low vision optometry subspecialties.  His training included clinical internships in Ocular Disease at the Laurel Eye Clinic, The Eye Institute of Philadelphia, and the Boston and Manchester Veteran's Hospitals.  Dr. Kirwan completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the Newington Veteran's Hospital in Connecticut before coming to practice in New Hampshire.  Dr. Kirwan is TPA-G (Therapeutic and Glaucoma) certified by the New Hampshire State Board of Registration in Optometry and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Optometry with specialties in both Anterior and Posterior Ocular Disease.  Dr. Steve Kirwan is orginally from Downingtown, Pennsylvania.  He is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and also a long-distance-swimmer and triathlete.

 

Dr. Lori S. Kirwan, O.D. completed her undergraduate studies at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University in Philadelphia.  She graduated with multiple honors for her Pediatric and Low Vision Specialties.  Her training included clinical internships in both Ocular Disease and Low Vision Specialties at The Eye Institute of Philadelphia, the Laurel Eye Clinic, and the Boston and Manchester Veteran's Hospitals.  Dr. Kirwan completed her residency in Low Vision and Ocular Disease at the West Haven Veteran's Hospital in West Haven, Connnecticut before coming to practice in New Hampshire.  Dr. Kirwan is TPA-G (Therapeutic and Glaucoma) certified by the New Hampshire State Board of Registration in Optometry and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Optometry with specialties in both Anterior and Posterior Ocular Disease.  Dr. Lori Kirwan was an "Air Force Brat" and has lived in Florida, Massachusettes, Indiana, Alaska, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware before choosing New Hampshire as her home.  She enjoys music and is also a triathlete and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Wolfeboro Area Recreation Association (WARA) aka "The Nick".

 

Dr. Steve and Dr. Lori have one daughter, Maggie, two chickens, a cat, and a very lovable Chocolate Lab named Maya.
